A TRIBUTE TO THE ISLAND AND OUR HISTORY

Troisi.png

Corricella gin is a tribute to the island and our history. It is in fact in Procida that the Di Costanzo-Avallone family, many years ago, opened the doors of their first family liqueur production site.

Marina di Corricella is the romantic postcard of the island of Procida, here the fishermen’s nets melt with the spontaneous and colorful architecture of the seaside village. The stairs meet the arches, the domes, the windows, the steps…all in an authentic and original disorder.

This picture, now known all over the world, can be found on the label printed on a precious natural paper, in the authentic artwork of FeBe.

The elegant and colorful bottle, embellished with details such as the wooden cap and the natural paper, contains an original gin which results from the mixture of a London Dry Gin produced by the oldest distillery in England with the precious infusion of green citrus from Procida, a historical family recipe; the result is an authentic, delicate and natural taste.

The island of Procida that was chosen by Michael Radford and Massimo Troisi as the set of the film “Il Postino” was elected as Italian Capital of Culture 2022.

“It is an Oscar-winning island: untouched by globalization, so authentic and rich in a culture that has not changed over the centuries".

Said Radford during "Los Angeles, Italy - Film, Fashion and Art Fest"

Corricella Tangerine gin is a fine gin that comes from the union of a refined London Dry Gin, produced by the oldest distillery in England, with an infusion of delicious tangerines grown in the gardens of Procida.

The procidian tangerine is a small fruit with a very thin skin but rich in essential oils, and with a pulp full of aromatic and sweet juice. Cultivation takes place on the typical volcanic soils of the area which give the fruit peculiar organoleptic characteristics, and which for several centuries have made it perfect for making jams, marmalades, and rosoli.

The cultivation of mandarins has always been handed down from generation to generation, and often the small citrus groves represented an important part of the dowry to be given to the daughters on the occasion of the wedding.

The bottle is elegant and colorful, and is embellished with details such as the wooden cap and the natural paper on which the faithful print of an original painting by FeBe (Francesca Belmonte) is shown.
